Your own Country House for a Weekend… At Rise Hall, the perfect wedding weekend stay includes exclusive use of the venue. Rise Hall has 31 individually styled bedrooms, offering guests a stay in a romantic bedroom and allowing guests to experience a quintessential English country house with modern, luxurious comforts. The Swift Bridal Suite is perfect for bridal preparations, offering a backdrop to those all-important photographs, with plenty of space for all the bridal party to get ready, plus your twin baths are sure to wow!
The ceremony is a centerpiece to the wedding day. We are licensed for civil ceremonies in the Morning Room, an elegant and light room with a stunning chandelier, original features and views across the manicured lawns of the Rise Hall estate. Rise Hall is lucky enough to also have a local church, All Saints Church, which is very close by, approx. 0.9 miles to be exact. Once the ‘I Do’s’ are done, it’s onto the celebrations!
The Drinks Reception can be held outside in the gardens and grounds with the backdrop of the stunning period building for photographs. The Belvedere Hall, with its bespoke chandelier, where you can make your spectacular entrance down the cantilevered staircase, is perfect for guests to mingle and a lovely spot to have some wedding photographs taken. The spacious Gallery with its rotunda, is also a feature room for guests to enjoy.
No Celebration is complete without food and drink! Your guests will be wowed by The Orangery as your Wedding Breakfast setting. The elegant Ballroom creates a magical atmosphere with patio doors leading to the gardens. Chandeliers, fairy lights and a bespoke interior really sets the scene for the perfect wedding breakfast meal. As wedding packages don’t exist, your celebration is as individual, as you as a couple. The food and drink you decide to have for your Wedding Day has been carefully curated by our team of award winning chefs. From Champagne and delicate canapes for the Drinks Reception, to an elegant and fine dining wedding breakfast, the choice is yours! Fun options also include grazing stations and evening bites to tempt your guests. Why not plan some entertainment, fancy something a bit different? Live music and fireworks? No problem!
When it’s party time you will have our very own traditional, Yorkshire pub! So you and your guests don’t need to wait for furniture to be rearranged or dance floors to be revealed- everything flows seamlessly and effortlessly from the day time reception into the evening party! We even have a quiet space for children and the sitting room for resting and long awaited catch-ups with family and friends.
Once your booking of Rise Hall is confirmed, you’ll be introduced to your dedicated Event Manager who will be there throughout the run up to your wedding to help you plan your special day. From choosing suppliers, finalising the seating plan, to advice on picking the perfect menu, they’ll be on hand to make sure your wedding planning is as stress-free as possible. With over 20 years’ experience working with VIPs, celebrities and the Royal Family, you can be sure you’ll be in safe hands!
As Rise Hall is not a hotel or a museum, you can treat it as yours for the duration of your stay. Design your wedding weekend around you: play a round of croquet in the grounds, enjoying the warming glow of the fire pit, swoon over the views of the lake or enjoy some fun on the feature swing.
